Indaer announced that it has been granted FAA approval to perform NDT on aircraft registered under such authority. The added capability has been added to its air agency certificate under the rating of “Limited Nondestructive Inspection, Testing and Processing”. Indaer has attained the certificate in association with Isotec, specialized NDT provider.  

Sebastian Jimenez, MRO Sales Engineering Manager added: “With the new rating we intend to provide a thorough service to our customers, performing the maintenance activities in less time and lower cost. Now we are certified by the FAA to perform ultrasonic and eddy current inspections which contributes to our market expansion”

In addition to the NDT capability Indaer announces that it is now certified under the Guernsey Civil Aviation Authority (2-Reg) to perform maintenance activities on aircraft with such registry.

Industrial Aeronáutica (Indaer) anuncia que ha obtenido la certificación por parte de la FAA para realizar ensayos no destructivos (NDT por sus siglas en inglés) en aeronaves registradas bajo dicha autoridad de aviación civil.

Dicha capacidad fue incorporada en su certificado (Air agency certificate) bajo la categoría “Limited Nondestructive Inspection, Testing and Processing”. Indaer ha obtenido la certificación en alianza con la empresa Isotec, especializada en ensayos no destructivos.

Sebastián Jimenez, gerente de Ingeniería de Ventas afirmó: “Con esta adición pretendemos brindar un servicio más completo a nuestros clientes, realizando los trabajos en menor tiempo y menor costo. Ahora contamos con la certificación de la FAA para realizar ensayos no destructivos utilizando las técnicas de ultrasonido y corrientes de Eddy lo cual contribuye a nuestro plan de expansión”.

Además de las nuevas capacidades otorgadas por la FAA, Indaer anuncia que ahora cuenta con aprobación de la autoridad de aviación civil de Guernsey (2-Reg) para prestar servicios de mantenimiento en aeronaves registradas bajo esa autoridad.
